Peter with Kilwell production staff, his medal, and 49ER mast and prod tubes

Kilwell Fibretube are the Sole Approved Manufacturers of Olympic class 49ER Mast and Prod, and Elliott 6 Mast, Prod and Boom tubes.  The Kilwell tubes are rigged by Southern Spars and distributed world wide.
New Zealand's 100th Olympic medal was won at the London Games by Peter Burling and Blair Tuke in the 49ER class and we were pleasantly surprised when Peter dropped in this week to meet the Kilwell team and have a chat.  We enjoyed talking to Peter and being able to hold the special trophy, and in turn he was interested to see some 49ER mast tubes being processed in the factory.
